*On Wednesday 19th April, the 'London Awards' took place in the Royal Lancaster Hotel.
Texas were nominated in the 'London's Favourite Group' category with Travis, Noneyz and Five.
And they WON !!!!   CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BAND !!!!

*On Thursday 13 April 2000, BBC2 showed 'Later with Jools Holland' including Texas (show recorded on 5th April 1999) with : In Our Lifetime, Tell Me the Answer and Summer Son.

*Texas was nominated for the Brits Awards 2000 in the 'Best Britsh Group' category but didn't win. The band wasn't at the ceremony and Travis got the award.
The ceremony has been broadcasted in UK on ITV on Saturday 4th March.

*Texas has won yesterday night (22/01/2000) the Award of the Best Band of the Year at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes (France). Congratulations !!!

*A french radio, RTL, has broadcasted on Friday 14th January 2000 a Texas concert recorded on Saturday 11th December in Paris.

*VIVA, the german musical TV, has broadcasted the Texas concert recorded in Cologne (Germany) on the 19th of November 1999.

*Club RTL, the belgian TV, broadcasted the `99 Party in the Park Concert` on Saturday 1st of January 2000.

*RTL2 an other french radio station, has broadcasted on Friday 17th December its Texas concert recorded on Friday 10th December in Paris.

*The 'Smash Hits Poll Winners Party ' was broadcasted on BBC1 on Sunday 5th December.

*After "In Our Lifetime" (30/04/99), "Summer Son" (28/05/99, 20/08/99, 28/08/99), and "Tell Me The Answer" (28/08/99 in Edinburgh), Texas were back again on 'Top Of The Pops' with "When We Are Together" recorded in Germany (26/11/99).

*Texas were on `Red Alert with the National Lottery` on BBC1 Saturday 20th November.

*Texas were on 'The Pepsi Chart' on Channel 5 (UK TV) on Thursday 18th November, to perform 'When We Are Together'.

*Texas were on the Jo Whiley show on BBC Radio 1 on Wednesday 10th November.

*Texas were on 'TFI Friday' on Channel 4 this Friday 5th November 1999.

The 'NetAid' concert was webcasted and broascasted on TV and Radio all around the world on the 9th of October.
*Texas has played in Geneva (Switzerland) for this charity event.

*Sharleen was on a radio show in the Netherlands on Tuesday 14th September on Radio 3 in the "Ruud de Wild Show".

*Texas was one of the artists of the month on VH1 (UK) in January with 3 special shows : "The greatest hits of Texas", "Texas - live at VH-1" and "Ten of the best - Sharleen Spiteri".

*Sharleen was one of the guests of Jools Holland for the "Jools's Sixth Annual Hootenanny" broadcasted on BBC2, Thursday, 31st of December. The show has been recorded the first week of December.
